Lateral Flail Mower MB-LW (Low Vib)

In addition to its universal use, the lateral flail mower is designed for mulching surfaces in the vicinity of rivers, ditches and roads. It is also suitable for meadows, orchards and pastures.

The functional linkage is designed for pulling the flail mower behind or lateral to the tractor with inclination range of +90° on the upward side and –55° on the downward side. The lateral flail mower can be attached to the tractor’s three–point linkage of II. and III. category. There is a Free Wheel coupling built inside, preventing the damages of the machine and gearbox. A different placement of the gearbox and parallelogram developed for the purpose of the horizontal hydraulic offset is what distinguishes the lateral flail mower from other universal flail mowers.

A special attachment with hydraulic cylinder is designed for raising/lowering the attachment. Our patented safety mechanism is also one of the stand out features. Regardless to the position of the parallelogram plates during mulching, the safety mechanism provides the equivalent protection and simultaneous partial raise of the flail mower in the event of hiting into obstacles.
